Storyline: STORY: Amazon Prime’s desi answer to its classy New York counterpart is, just like the city, chaotic yet beautiful, liberating yet limiting, and a paradox of identities. In true classic Bollywood fashion, these stories have a lot to say about love—hello, it’s the biggest saleable emotion after all—but the gloss is gone, and you are not going to like everything you see. ‘Modern Love Mumbai’, in essence, is a hodgepodge of realism laced with fantasy and the serving is piping hot—scoop up real quick and take what suits you best. REVIEW: About love and loss, self-proclaimed softie Ed Sheeran has once expressed his take on it, in his laconic style, that people, indeed, “fall in love in mysterious ways.” Interestingly, it is this same Sheeran who has also nihilistically declared that the “the worst things in life come free to us.” Love included.
