Storyline: The plot follows Dhanush as Suruli, a Madurai gangster who is initially recruited by, and then crosses paths with, Peter (James Cosmo), a politically-affluent London boss. But it's not all guns and gore; the film also explores themes of xenophobia, cultural shifts, and what 'home' means to different people. When Netflix acquired Jagame Thandhiram earlier this year, it sparked speculation that it was a record deal for a Tamil film's direct digital release.
